Application of Academic Advisor

Procedure: After consulting with the Dean of Department and deciding on an advisor, enter the Academic Information System in the department → Check the qualifications of the advisor and appoint him/her as the academic advisor of the thesis
Academic Advisor Eligibility : Full-time professor of our school
Change of Academic Advisor : In cases where the advisor is unable to instruct a student due to retirement, leave of absence, dispatch, or other reasons

Target: International students admitted after 2012
Result Submission: Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) OR English Proficiency Test
- 1. Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK): Level 4 and above
- 2. English Proficiency Test: Score of ‘TOEFL PBT 530, CBT 197, iBT 71, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600 (New TEPS 326)
Other: If the documents are not submitted, application of evaluation will not be allowed.

The comprehensive examination evaluates knowledge of the major field and ability in research methods. Matters necessary for the implementation of the comprehensive examination, such as subjects, qualifications, and procedures, are determined by departmental regulations.

Eligibility : Those who have enrolled in the last semester, passed the qualification examination for thesis submission, and obtained (or are expected to obtain) the credits required for completion

External	A four-year university professor with the same qualifications as an internal evaluation committee member as a professor at another university In case of recommending a researcher due to the nature of the thesis, the candidate must be a doctoral degree holder engaged in research and have at least 3 years of research experience.

1 time (Master’s), 3 times (Doctoral and Joint Program) during the evaluation period
