The Internship and Cultural Experience (ICE) program at Konkuk University is a five-week long program for students from English-speaking countries, such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Through the ICE program, participants gain hands-on experience teaching English to university students during summer vacation. It particularly fulfills the educational needs of students majoring in English education and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), but is also valuable to those with a general interest in Korea.

* While temporarily unavailable for Summer 2016, KU plans to offer the ICE program again in the near future.
Each participant will receive a certificate for completing the internship program. Transferring credits may be possible depending on the home university.
All applicants must possess nationality of an English-speaking country and be able to take college-level courses in English. They must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, and applicants from KU partner universities receive priority. Students majoring in English, education, and/or TESOL or those who have teaching experience in their home country also receive priority.
