Dear valued students and esteemed partners,

Welcome to Office of International Affairs at Konkuk University.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we regretfully inform you the cancellation of 2020 International Winter Program from Konkuk University, which was planned to be held from Dec 21, 2020 to Jan 1, 2021. Despite the precautions and proactive efforts including Social Distancing against the spread of COVID-19 in Korea, there still are growing concerns over the society. Amid the expanding uncertainties, our international program is no exception, as well.

In accordance with careful discussions with international partners of Konkuk University and strict guidelines by Ministry of Health and Disease Control in Korea, we have decided to cancel our international programs for the safety of prospective students. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding in advance. We will also make sure to keep you updated for further information via our website.

The International Winter Program (IWP) at Konkuk University (KU) is a great opportunity for international students who wish to learn about Korea and experience its culture. The two-week-long program is suitable for all students, but is particularly valuable to those having a general interest in Korea. During their winter vacation, students can now gain an understanding of this vibrant country that is considered as a global economic and cultural powerhouse and a gateway to the world.

  • Intensive program for Korean-language acquisition and cultural fluency
  • Field trips to historical and scenic sites throughout Korea.

All applicants should be enrolled in an accredited college or university and must be able to take college-level courses in English. Recent high school graduates who are expected to enroll in an accredited college or university can also participate in the program.
