Overview

The Exchange Student Program at Konkuk University (KU) offers international students enrolled in partner institutions an opportunity to pursue their studies for one or two semesters at KU. Each semester, numerous exchange students from all over the world come and leave with rich academic experiences and lifelong friendships.

The Office of International Affairs at KU is committed to making exchange students’ transition to Korea and their stay at Konkuk as smooth as possible.

Qualifications
A prospective participant in the KU Exchange Student Program must meet ALL of the following qualifications:
  1. A full-time student who has been officially selected and nominated by a KU partner institution
  2. Successful completion of at least one semester at the partner institution
  3. English or Korean language proficiency for successful completion of the exchange student program
  4. A passport holder who can obtain a Korean visa
  5. Physically healthy with no serious illnesses or injuries

Program Details

Courses Taught in English

For both Korean and international students, KU offers an extensive number of courses taught in English. Course offerings for spring and fall semesters are released around January and July, respectively, and students will be given the opportunity to register before arriving in Korea.
