Health and Wellness Student Counseling Center

The Student Counseling Center at Konkuk University (KU) is staffed by full-time certified counselors to assist students in every aspect of their lives.

  • Nearly 1,000 students visit the center every semester.
  • Special counseling is available for foreign students, students with disabilities, and students struggling with their studies.
  • Counseling can be provided in English and Chinese.
  • Peer counselors are also available.
  • All services provided by the Student Counseling Center are free of charge.
Peer Counselor
  • Individual and group counseling sessions
    • Individual counseling: One 50-minute session per week
    • Group counseling with approximate 10 people: One 90- to 120-minute session per week
  • Psychological tests
    • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: Personality test
    • Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory: Psychometric test
    • Holland Career Search Inventory
    • Temperament and Character Inventory
    • U&I Learning Type Inventory
  • Special lectures and workshops
  • Surveys on student life
  • Lending of books on mental health
  • Publication of brochures on student counseling for faculty members
