The Student Counseling Center at Konkuk University (KU) is staffed by full-time certified counselors to assist students in every aspect of their lives.
Highlights
- Nearly 1,000 students visit the center every semester.
- Special counseling is available for foreign students, students with disabilities, and students struggling with their studies.
- Counseling can be provided in English and Chinese.
- Peer counselors are also available.
- All services provided by the Student Counseling Center are free of charge.
Services
- Individual and group counseling sessions
- Individual counseling: One 50-minute session per week
- Group counseling with approximate 10 people: One 90- to 120-minute session per week
- Psychological tests
- Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: Personality test
- Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory: Psychometric test
- Holland Career Search Inventory
- Temperament and Character Inventory
- U&I Learning Type Inventory
- Special lectures and workshops
- Surveys on student life
- Lending of books on mental health
- Publication of brochures on student counseling for faculty members
