※ When you apply for the Leave of Absence
after paying the full tuition, the tuition will be
transferred to the next semester.

For a Leave of Absence due to illness:
A diagnosis from a general hospital advising
treatment for more than 60 days
A copy of the enlistment notice to the
administrative office of your college after
applying through the KU Portal System

Extension of
Leave of
Absence
  1. - Students can extend the duration of Leave of Absence by reapplying within
    the designated period with no limit in the number of extensions
  2. - New students (freshmen in their first semester) may take a Leave of Absence due to
    illness or military service but not for personal matters
Remarks - If a student does not return to school after the period of Leave of Absence is
terminated without reapplying for the Leave of Absence, the student will be expelled
from the University.
