The Department of Music Education at Konkuk University (KU) provides a high quality program for future music teachers. In our knowledge-based society, teachers need to do more than just build their knowledge and convey it to students. Teachers need to be able to reconstruct their knowledge and use it creatively for different types of students. In recognition of this, our department offers various courses designed to help develop the skills and knowledge of future teachers in the field of music education, as well as enhance their ability to creatively use and reconstruct their knowledge in the classroom context.
