A research team led by Professor Wi Hyoung Lee of the Department of Organic and Nano System Engineering published a study on the impact of grain boundary induced bias instability on organic field-effect transitors, which have potential applications in flexible electronics. The research was supported by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning under the Nano-based Soft Electronics Research Project and the Rising Research Project. The results were published on the online version of Scientific Reports, a sister publication of Nature,” on September 12, 2016, in an article titled “Grain Boundary Induced Bias Instability in Soluble Acene-Based Thin-Film Transistors” with Mr. Ky Nguyen, a graduate of Konkuk’s master's program in organic and nano system engineering listed as the first author.
