<Source: Nature.com>On October 31, 2016, Konkuk University announced that Professor Chang-Seon Song of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Researcher Hana Youn of Konkuk CTCBIO Animal Vaccine, a subsidiary of the university’s technology holding company, published a letter in Nature Nanotechnology with researchers at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Konyang University. The research team jointly developed a nanostructured glycan architecture that could offer protection against human or avian influenza viruses. The research was supported by a National Research Foundation grant funded by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, the Marine Biotechnology Program, funded by Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and the Basic Science Research Program funded by the Ministry of Education.
