Konkuk Research Team Develops Highly Efficient, Selectively Activated Synaptic Devices

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><img style="margin-left: auto; display: block; margin-right: auto;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11688180" /><br />A Konkuk research team led by the Professor Bae Ho Park of the Department of Physics has realized a selectively activated inorganic synaptic devices that allow emulation of high-capacity and energy-efficient reconfigurable human neural systems combining information storage and processing. The study was published in Nano Letters on February 23 with Dr. Chansoo Yoon of the department listed as the <em>first author</em> of the article, and received support by the National Research Foundation of Korea funded by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> </span></p>
