KU Undergraduate Student Publishes in Hydrology and Earth System Sciences

<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">On January 20, 2017, Konkuk University announced that Mr. Won-Jin Jang and Mr. Chung-Gil Jung published an article titled “Estimation of 1 km Grid-based WATEM/SEDEM Sediment Transport Capacity Using 1 Minute Rainfall Data and SWAT Semi-distributed Sediment Transport Capacity Results for Han River Basin of South Korea” on the online version of Hydrology and Earth System Sciences. Mr. Jang and Mr. Jung are an undergraduate student and a PhD candidate, respectively, at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Plant Engineering. Since the summer after his second year, Mr. Jang has been participating in research projects as an undergraduate researchersat the Earth Information Engineering Lab led by Professor Seong-Joon Kim.</span></p> <p><img width="667" height="405" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11683947" /></p>
