He has served twice as Chairman of the Asia-Pacific AIDS Society, from 2005 to 2009, and from 2017 until present. He also collaborated on AIDS with Dr. Baruch Blumberg, who won the 1976 Nobel Prize in Medicine. He also studied AI, robots and blockchains at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and co-founded Nexol Biotech Co., Ltd. and Celltrion with CEO Jung-jin Seo.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Professor Cho reported that the AIDS drug was effective in administering the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). “It is a medicine for AIDS called Kaletra. "It has two ingredients, pinavir and ritonavir," he said. "The Chinese government recently recommended using AbbVie from the US, Kaletra and Aluvia, to treat novel corona virus.
