Konkuk University R&D Center for Green Patrol Technologies (Director, Professor Jo Chun Kim, College of Civil and Environmental Engineering) held a ‘2019 Green Patrol International Symposium’ on Nov. 4th.
The international symposium was held to share current status of technology development of equipment for measurement and analysis of fine dust and cause substance of air pollution and more than 300 attendees including Jung-wook Kim, Chairman of Green Growth Korea, Kwang Hee Nam, President of KEITI (Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute), Yong Seung Shin, President of Seoul Research Institute for Health & Environment, Woo Young Sun, President of Atmospheric Environment Association, Industrial University of HoChiMinh City, Vietnam Centre for Environmental Monitoring, Indonesian Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology, domestic and international academic and industrial, institutional officials and environmental experts.
Konkuk University R&D Center for Green Patrol Technologies, with the support of the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Institute of Environmental Industry and Technology, is researching the localization of environmental pollutant measuring and analyzing equipment and developing IoT (Internet of Things) based environmental measurement analysis technology related to the fourth industry. The symposium analyzes the systems and policies of environmental measurement and measuring instruments in countries such as China, Vietnam, Indonesia, etc. with domestic and foreign experts, and discusses how to enter the overseas market.
