Professor Sangryul Yoo from College of Business Administration at Konkuk University won ‘The 21st Business Paper Award for Business Administration Research (Best Paper)’ held by The Korean Academic Society of Business Administration’s Regular General Meeting on February 19. (Thesis title: Relevance Between Innovation, Improvement of the Company’s Life Cycle and Corporate Value, vol.49, no.3)Business Research Excellence Awards by The Korean Academic Society of Business Administration is awarded to a paper which is published over the past year in Business Administration Research and recognized for its academic excellence and contribution to the development of Korean Business Administration. The Korean Academic Society of Business Administration is a representative association of business administration in Korea with 8,000 individual members.Professor Yoo presented that innovation activities in company are factors which extend the company’s life cycle in a sustainable way, and improvement of the company’s cycle leads to moderating and meditated effect on the relevance between innovation and corporate value. Throughout the finding, he discovered the rationale that improvement of the company’s life cycle can be applied to corporate valuation.Professor Yoo has published more than 60 international and domestic theses regarding innovation activities in company and corporate valuation using productivity, efficiency and accounting information.
