The research team at the College of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Konkuk University (KU), led by Prof. Soon Young Shin, Prof. Yoongho Lim, and Prof. Young Han Lee, has developed a novel antitumor agent that selectively kills cancer cells. The team's experiment showed that the agent could selectively target cancer cells, suggesting a promising novel strategy for cancer therapeutics which does not accompany side effects.
