Konkuk University (KU) announced on Feb. 9, 2015, that the research team led by Professors Seung-Yeol Nah and Hyunsook Kim (College of Veterinary Medicine) investigated the metabolic processes of grape seed flour, a by-product of wine, with Sonomaceuticals LLC/WholeVine Products of the U.S. This is the first time that the processes have been investigated.
The research outcomes are drawing international attention as they were published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, a renowned international journal, and reported through the "Breaking News" of Nutraingredients.com, an online provider of daily food and health news.
