Konkuk University announced on the 29th that it has signed an MOU with Korea Small Business Association to support small business owners who lead the regional economy. In the signing agreement which was held on the 28th at the Administration Building of Konkuk University, President Young Jae Jeon, Hyunchool Lee, the Vice President for Public Affairs and Jaemin Park, the Executive Director for Startup Support Foundation attended along with Inbok Park, the President of Korea Small Business Association, Jeongsil Kim, the President of Korea Association of Beommusa Lawyer, Kyunghee Won, the President of Korean Association of Certified Public Tax Accountants and the Vice Presidents of Korea Small Business Association.The agreement was signed by Konkuk University and Korea Small Business Association to support small business owners directly and indirectly by providing management/professional startup education services to 7 million small business owners who are suffering from COVID-19 and jointly developing the relevant projects.The purposes of the agreement include *protection and representation of the rights and interests of 7 million socially disadvantaged small business owners *education for managers and employees (including startups) *startup and employment education projects before short-term military discharge.President Jeon said, “Today we have come to this agreement to secure self-reliance of small business owners in the era of Post-COVID. Through the agreement, we will actively work on educating small business owners and employees, creating job opportunities and providing startup education.”President Park of Korea Small Business Association said, “We are pleased to help and support small business owners who are suffering from the COVID-19 with management/startup education, and feel grateful to Konkuk University for giving this opportunity.”Korea Small Business Association was established in 1996 to protect and represent the rights and interest of small business owners who are socially disadvantaged. Receiving authorization from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2001, the association has conducted various activities to improve the overall environment in the economy, management and society.
