On October 24th, Climate Research Institute (Professor Seungho Lee, Geography) Konkuk University mentioned that they have been engaged in exchanges cooperation with research organization of South Asia and Southeast Asian countries where have potential for future food resources trade in a changing environment.
KU Climate Research Institute signed research cooperation MOU with Centre for Integrated Mountain Research of University of Punjab, Pakistan (Safdar Ali Shirazi, the manager). Seungho Lee, the Manager of KU Climate Research Institute visited University of Punjab, Pakistan in July and discussed with Niaz Ahmed, a Vice-President about active research cooperation and exchange between two universities.After KU Climate Research Institute and University of Punjab concluded MOU, Master researcher of University of Punjab is preparing for the KU’s Ph.D. program and the researcher is currently working at the Climate Research Institute.KU Climate Research Institute is also promoting MOU for research cooperation with University of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam for expansion of international climate research cooperation.
