KU Exchange and Visiting Students Make a Field Trip to the DMZ and Sky Park

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">On October 26th, 2018, Konkuk University’s exchange and visiting students took a field trip to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and Sangam Sky Park.</span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">105 students and staff members, including 100 exchange and visiting students, visited Imjingak Pavilion where numerous statues and monuments commemorating the Korean War, the DMZ which divide the Korean peninsula in half by creating a buffer zone between North and South Korea, the Third Tunnel which was dug by North Koreans to invade South Korea, and Dora Observatory where the North Korean propaganda village situated in the DMZ.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">In the afternoon, students visited Sangam Sky Park and enjoyed Korea’s autumn season with Cosmos, Silver grass, Pink Muhly Grass, and other autumn plants.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><img width="631" height="366" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11747002" /><br /><br /><img width="611" height="459" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11747003" /></span></p> <p><br /><img width="611" height="459" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11747004" /></p>
