<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Konkuk University's Fundraising for Sanghuh Memorial Library (KU: FL) project, which has been underway for the 30th anniversary of Konkuk University in May 2019, has been in full operation with donations from sponsors.<br /></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">The KU:FL project, which began raising money from May 15 last year, is ongoing one year project to the 15th anniversary of the Sanghuh Memorial Library on May 15 of this year. So far, 31 organizations and 215 individuals have participated in a total amount of 810 million won. Funds raised are used for overall library environment maintenance including replacement of reading room chairs, tables and shelves, and improvement of multimedia rooms.</span></p> <p><br /><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><img width="619" height="413" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11752496" /><br /><span style="font-size: 11pt;"></span></span></p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Through KU:FL project, 2,584 of reading room chairs and 386 of bookshelves have been replaced. In particular, 1,080 reading room chairs and group reading rooms have large and small labels with the name of the donors to treat them with honor who have delivered valuable funds.<br /><br /><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Seung-yong Park, director of the Public Affairs, said, "The support and warmth of the donors will be delivered to the students who study hard in the library."
