BK21 plus Quantum Future Technology Research Institute of Konkuk University College of Sciences, Department of Physics held ‘KU-VNU UET-PNU Joint Workshop on Quantum and Nano Science’ on May 20 to 22 at Konkuk University College of Sciences.
In this workshop, about 70 researchers from home and abroad were attended including Yong-kyung Kwon, BK21 plus Director of Future Technology Research Institute, Bae-ho Park, Director of 2+Dimensional fusion device research, Pham Duc Thang, Dean of Vietnam National University of Engineering Physics / Nanotechnology, Yun-hoe Hwang, BK21 plus Director of nano fusion technology and they have discussed about quantum mechanics-based nanotechnology-related research trends and cooperation.
Professor Bae-Ho Park said, "Through a total of 18 academic oral presentations, the results of nanomedical research based on quantum mechanics at Konkuk University, Vietnam National University, and Pusan National University were introduced, and we shared our ideas and know-how through heated discussions. I was able to have a good opportunity."
Konkuk University BK21 plus Quantum Future Technology Research Center and Vietnam National University Engineering Physics / Nanotechnology also signed a research exchange agreement to cooperate with each other in international joint research and exchange of personnel.
We also introduced the advanced high-end equipment owned by Konkuk University BK21 plus Quantum Future Technology Research Center and the 2+ -dimensional fusion device research group and searched for possibilities of collaborative research utilizing it. The 2nd KU - VNU UET - PNU Joint Workshop on Quantum and Nano Science will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2020.
