<pre style="background: #f8f9fa; line-height: 18pt;"><span style="color: #505050; font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Konkuk University (KU)’s commencement ceremony took place at the New Millennium Hall on August 22, 2019.<span style="font-size: 11pt;"><br /><br /><img width="649" height="352" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11769552" /><br /></span></span><span style="font-family: 굴림; font-size: 11pt;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">2,022 graduate and undergraduate students from the main campus in Seoul and the GLOCAL campus </span><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">in Chungju <br />received their degrees. A total of 115 doctoral degrees, 734 master’s degrees, </span><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">and 1,173 undergraduate degrees <br />were conferred.</span> <br /><br /><img width="650" height="464" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11769553" /><br /></span><span style="font-family: 굴림; font-size: 11pt;"><br /><img width="640" height="374" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11769554" /><br /></span></span></pre> <pre style="background: #f8f9fa; line-height: 18pt;"><span style="color: #505050; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">President Award was presented to 1 PhD student and 11 graduate students. <span style="color: #505050;">Dean of Graduate Award was <br />presented to 15 students and Academic Award was presented to 3 Phd students and 2 graduate students. <br /><span style="color: #505050;"><br />On the congratulatory remarks, KU President Sanggi Min encouraged the enthusiasm and hard work of <br />graduates who have earned a glorious degree after many years of efforts and said “I hope our graduates can <br />dream and realize their dreams toward the global world beyond Korea. To be a pioneer in the Fourth Industrial <br />Revolution, it is important to learn science and technology, but communication between people is also very <br />important.” <br /><br />And President Min added that “No matter how fast the times change, don't be afraid to change with the spirit of <br />hard work and never lose and don’t forget the spirit of courageous and challenging like the bull, the symbol of <br />Konkuk University.
