<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="color: #000000; font-family: 맑은 고딕;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Konkuk University held the International Winter Program (IWP) from December 18-31, 2019 for international students from overseas universities to give them opportunities to learn about Korean culture, Korean language, history, and traditions during winter vacations.</span> </span></span></p> <p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="color: #000000; font-family: 맑은 고딕;"><span style="font-family: 굴림; font-size: 11pt;"><br /><img width="672" height="194" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11778513" /><br /></span><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">The International Winter Program was participated by 50 students from 9 different universities including Malaysian Petronas Universiti of PETRONAS, Sunway University, the University of Southern Mississippi, the PSB Academy of Singapore, the University of Hong Kong, the University of Mississippi and Macau City University the University of Macau and King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. <br /><br />International students had the orientation and campus tours with Konkuk University students, and Korean classes, K-pop dance classes, Taekwondo classes, Korean cultural experience programs such as visits to Lotte World, Hallyu culture experience, and Korean language classes were conducted. <br /><br /> Dong-eun Kim, the Vice President of Office of International Affairs, said, "We planned this program to let international students who are interested in Korea have beneficial time in Korea. I hope student learn not only about Korean language but also experience about Korean culture." <br /><br /><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="color: #000000; font-family: 맑은 고딕;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">Konkuk University has also invited 50 Chinese college students during the winter vacation in December and held the 2019 DUT(Dalian University of Technology) Winter Program and the 2019 BUT(Beijing University of Technology) Winter Program as well as the IWP, in order to diversify inbound short-term exchange students in the internationalization sector and exchange with universities in Asia and China.</span> <span style="font-family: 굴림; font-size: 11pt;"><br /><br /><img width="624" height="313" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11778604" /><br /><img width="653" height="286" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11778514" /></span><br /></span></span></span></span></span></p>
