On 1 April 2011, the Center for International Faculty and Student Services of the Office of Glocal Cooperation held a Korean culture field trip for new foreign exchange students who came to Konkuk for the Spring Semester 2011. Over 100 new foreign exchange students participated in the one-day event which took them to Yongin City, south of Seoul. There, the students visited the Korean Folk Village to create traditional Korean potteries and take a tour of the village. They also visited EVERLAND, the largest theme park in South Korea.
