On 17 March 2011, an on-campus movie theater opened. Located on the 1st basement of Art & Design Building of Konkuk University, KU Cinematheque will showcase mainly art and independent films. But it will play commercial movies of artistic value as well (the Oscar-winning Black Swan is now showing).

Ticket prices - Regular: 7,000 (weekdays), 8,000 (weekends and holidays) - Early-morning discount: 6,000 (the first movie before noon / weekends, holidays and vacations only) - Discount for Konkuk faculty and students: 30% off regular prices (Show your student [faculty] ID card at the box office.)
Others - Comfortable seat-to-seat space (120cm) - No commercials before the start of a movie - No beverages or foods allowed inside the facility (only mineral water is allowed) - Lights on until the end of the end credits - No English subtitles for Korean movies
