Konkuk University’s Student Counseling Center (Director Hangsim Lee) holds online open talk program ‘International Student Emotion Support Group’ from November 26th to December 3rd in order to relieve the difficulty and social isolation from COVID-19 among international students.
The non-face-to-face program is held to share psychological difficulties and find solutions among international students who suffer from similar issues, considering that they are challenged to adapt to unfamiliar environments and they can experience negative emotions due to prolonged COVID-19.
In this program, 6-10 international students will participate to share difficulties related to loneliness, stress, academic burden and daily life as well as establish a social support system among others.
The Director, Hangsim Lee, said, “It is the time to provide emotion support system for international students experiencing hardships due to prolonged COVID-19,” and “Henceforth, We will keep trying to operate various programs to improve the level of adaptation for international students.”
