On 21 June 2013, Konkuk University and Kyoto University, Japan, held their 3rd joint seminar at Konkuk to address “In Search of Creative and Innovative Business.”
The latest seminar featured presentations by professors of the College of Business Administration at Konkuk (Prof. Kim Zu-kweon, Prof. Park Sun-young and Prof. Lee Seung-yon), Dr. Lee Sung-choon from KT’s Digieco and a researcher from the Hyundai Research Institute, as well as five professors from Kyoto University including Prof. Kiyoshi Kobayashi.
Organized by the Graduate School of Business of Konkuk and the Graduate School of Management of Kyoto University, the seminar has been held every June since 2011.
The annual seminar brings faculties and graduate students from both universities together, as well as other scholars from research institutes, including KT’s Digieco, the Hyundai Research Institute and the Korean-Japanese Economics & Management Association.
In August 2012, the two universities signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to bolster cooperation in research and academic exchanges.
