83rd Anniversary Celebration of the Foundation of KU

<p align="left">A ceremony for commemorating the 83<sup>rd</sup> anniversary of the foundation of Konkuk University (KU) was held on May 15, 2014, at the New Millennium Hall, KU, with the participation of around 300 students, professors, alumni, and staff members.</p> <p align="left">At the ceremony, President Heeyoung Song delivered a speech which was followed by University Professor Roger Kornberg's congratulatory message.</p> <p align="left">President Song stated in his speech that "We should turn this memorable day, the 83<sup>rd</sup> anniversary of the University's foundation, into an opportunity for a new leap and development toward the future."</p> <p align="left"><img src="ArticleFile.do?id=11591661" /></p> <p align="left"> </p> <p align="left">Prof. Kornberg, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry (2006) and Professor at Stanford University, said "Konkuk University has become the most prestigious private university in Korea. Looking into the future, I expect Konkuk University to go from strength to strength."
