Center for University Innovation Project at Konkuk University (Director Jin Yong Park) held ‘2020 KU University Innovation Forum’ live on YouTube on January, 28th.
Under the subtitle ‘The Role of University Innovation Support Projects for Post-COVID Era’, the forum was presented to share and announce innovative as well as best practices practiced through 2020 University Innovation Support Projects.The forum began with a greeting from the Director Jin Yong Park, Center for University Innovation Project at Konkuk University. Henceforth, welcoming address from President Young Jae Jeon at Konkuk University and keynote speech on ‘Strategies of Remote Education and Artificial Intelligence for Post-COVID Era’ from Director Sang Hyun Jang at KERIS (Korea Education and Research Information Service) were presented.Following that, the presentation of innovative cases included education innovation, industry-academic cooperation innovation and research innovation. In education innovation, ‘Building Online Learning System and Its Future Prospects in COVID Era’ from Senior Associate Yoon Sung Lee, Center for Teaching and Learning, ‘Cases of Developing AR-based Contents for Professor Competency Enhancement’ from Dr. Song Yee Han, Center for Teaching and Learning and ‘General Education to Solve Problems in Reality’ from Director So Young Lee, Center for General Research Assessment were announced. In industry-academic cooperation innovation, ‘Innovation of Industry-Academic Cooperation System through Active Career Development’ from Hye Min Choi, Center for Employment Support and ‘Cases of 4+1 Combined Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree Program and RUS Program’ from Kyung Mi Kim, Department of Cosmetics Engineering.
The forum was held for about 2 hours and 40 minutes live on YouTube.
In the welcoming address, President Young Jae Jeon stated, “We hope that the experiences of the conducted businesses at Konkuk University will be well delivered and be an opportunity of mutual challenge through this forum.”
Director Jin Yong Park, Center for University Innovation Project, said, “Center for University Innovation Project has completed various results amid the difficult conditions of COVID-19,” adding, “We hope that it has been a useful time for everyone who participated and shared best practices in this forum.”
