Konkuk Holds 2014 KU-Sapporo Cultural Exchange Program

<p align="left">The Office of International Affairs at Konkuk University (KU) held the 2014 KU-Sapporo Cultural Exchange Program during Dec. 22-27, 2014, with the participation of 10 students from Sapporo Gakuin University (Japan), Konkuk's partner university.</p> <p align="left">The program was composed of a two-day trip to Yeoju, a one-day cultural tour, Korea-Japan cultural exchange conference, Korean traditional costume (Hanbok) experience, Insa-dong tour, pottery making in Bukchon Hanok Village, etc. Eight Konkuk students also took part in these activities, building friendships with students from Japan.</p> <p align="left">Prof. Don Hinkelman of Sapporo Gakuin University who led the students commented that the program was a great opportunity for enhancing the mutual understanding of each other's cultures through various activities.</p> <p align="left">The eight Konkuk students who participated in this program will visit Japan during Jan. 13-18, 2015, to engage in Japanese cultural activities with Sapporo Gakuin University students.</p> <p style="text-align: center;" align="left"><img src="ArticleFile.do?id=11610268" /></p> <p style="text-align: center;" align="left"><img src="ArticleFile.do?id=11610269" /></p> <p style="text-align: center;" align="left"> </p> <p style="text-align: right;">Posted by Eun Jin Cho</p>
