Konkuk University (KU) Office of International Affairs carried out the 7th Japan Winter Program (JWP) from Feb. 23 to March 6, 2015.
Eleven students from four Japanese universities including Ochanomizu University, Konkuk's new partner university, Chuo University, Gunma University, and Fukuyama University participated in the JWP, which was composed of cultural activities and opportunities to learn about Korean history. The students also took Korean language classes, toured various sites in Seoul, and visited the Hanok Village in Jeonju-si. The activities and tours were accompanied by the International Student Volunteers of International Programs Team, KU Office of International Affairs.
During the summer, Konkuk offers the Japan Summer Program (JSP), which is an equivalent of the JWP taking place during summer break. The International Summer Program (ISP) is also offered during the summer, through which international students take courses at Konkuk while experiencing Korean culture.
