Konkuk University (KU) students who left for a 14-day trip to Europe through the 2015 Dr. Jung Overseas Program came back to Korea on July 5, 2015. Dr. Jung Overseas Program is intended to expand Konkuk students' overseas experiences and foster a spirit of challenge and initiative. Through the annual contribution of 100 million KRW by Dr. Jung, a KU alumnus, selected students are given the opportunity to learn the culture and history of countries abroad.
It was on June 22 that twenty students left for Western Europe - France, Italy, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom - to explore the region's education, policies, history, and culture. Places visited included the Royal Observatory Greenwich, the British Museum, the Louvre Museum, the Palace of Versailles, Montmartre, Jungfrau, Milan Cathedral (Duomo), and the Vatican Museums.
