Konkuk University (KU) Business School announced that its MBA (Master of Business Administration) in MOT (Management of Technology) will be expanded to MOTD, Management of Technology & Design.
KU Business School, which has launched the first MOT MBA program in Korea in 2010, has planned this expansion to reflect the current global trend of convergence of technology and design management, as well as to respond to the industry's demand for design management which is becoming a necessity for gaining a competitive edge.
The new MOTD MBA aims to foster management experts who meet the demands of the businesses of our time by adding a curriculum involving courses on technology and design innovation to that of the existing MOT MBA. Specifically, along with the core management classes provided by the general MBA program, specialized courses on design management such as technological innovations and design management, design thinking workshop, design innovation management, development of new products and design management, among others, will be offered.
For students admitted to this new program, scholarship opportunities will be available, ranging from 40% to 100% tuition exemption, depending on their qualifications.
