On July 25, 2015, international students taking part in the 2015 International Summer Program (ISP) offered by the Konkuk University (KU) Office of International Affairs went on a field trip in Seoul with International Student Volunteers (ISV), Korean students at Konkuk. Starting with the Gyeongbokgung Palance, a total of 25 students and volunteers visited Insa-dong as well as experienced hanbok costumes and jjimjilbang, Korean style hot sauna.
Mr. Thien Nguyen from Finland, an ISP participant, commented that "It was a great opportunity to experience Korean culture, and it was quite interesting to walk along the Insa-dong area. Jjimjilbang was definitely impressive."
The 4-week ISP at KU will wrap up with a closing ceremony on August 7.
