Konkuk University (KU) College of Art & Design has been holding the 2015 KU Art & Design Competition to discover and cultivate future artists and designers. Participants, 11,329 persons in total, have been taking part in the competitions on every weekend in July for a total of five days.
Marking the 14th year since its launch in 2002, KU has been hosting this annual competition which is recognized as the most reputable art and design competition among high school students. It is divided into two parts, art (human anatomy drawing and watercolor) and design (basic design), to evaluate students' capacities in basic modeling, a requirement of all areas in design.
The award ceremony is scheduled on Aug. 11 on KU Seoul Campus.
