Konkuk University (KU) announced that a delegation from Black Hills State University (BHSU) in the US visited KU Seoul Campus on May 21, 2015, to discuss new measures for exchange and cooperation as well as ways to expand existing student exchange programs. Five members from BHSU including President Tom Jackson Jr. met with KU President Heeyoung Song, Vice President for International Affairs Kwangsoo Kim, and staff of the International Programs Team.
"Black Hills State University is a comprehensive university located in Spearfish, South Dakota in the Midwest, and is the third largest university in the state," said Vice President Kim. "We will offer more opportunities to participate in student exchange programs by developing new measures for cooperation along with more short-term programs."
KU and BHSU have concluded an agreement in 2013 regarding academic and student exchange. So far, five Konkuk students have studied at BHSU.
