The Fintecher School, jointly operated by the Konkuk University (KU) Graduate School of Information & Telecommunications; Korean Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning; and the "Korea Fintech Forum; received applications to select its second group of trainees
The Fintecher School provides a 1-day curriculum involving fintech (financial technology) software to 50 university students and community members who are highly interested in the area, taught by leaders of relevant industries, the academia, and associations.
On August 17, under the theme "Bitcoin," the Fintecher School invited several experts of the field to lecture on "the payment program practicum," "the cash system," "the easiest money in the world, Bitcoin," "the fastest way to blockchain, coin stacking," and "blockchain application: cases and practicum," at Sogang University in Seoul.
"Our school will become the initiator of creating an ecosystem for fintech startups in Korea," said Prof. Young Whan Lee, head of the Fintecher School. "We will aim at giving substantial support to students and non-students who are interested in fintech startups," he added.
