Konkuk University (KU) announced its participation in an official development assistance (ODA) program for the establishment of a human resource development system and the construction of the Kurdistan Institute of Public Administration (KIPA) for officials of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in Iraq, with support from Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). H.E. Dr. Ali Sindi, KRG Minister of Planning, and KU President Heeyoung Song met on Oct. 21, 2015, to discuss cooperative measures concerning the ODA program at the Administration Building on KU main campus in Seoul, Korea.
KU and the Korea Institute for Development Strategy (KDS) are serving as Project Management Consultancy (PMC) for this KOICA ODA project, funded with 3.3 million USD, which is to continue through 2016.
