Konkuk University (KU) held the 2015 Japan Summer Program (JSP) during Aug. 16 - 28, 2015. with the participation of 15 university students from Japan. The program consisted of Korean language classes, city tours and field trips, networking with Korean students, and cultural activities.
For the field trips, participants and the International Student Volunteers (ISVs) visited the Hanok Village as well as the mural village in Jeonju. They also enjoyed the sceneries of the Sihwaho Lake. Students could directly experience Korean culture by trying on hanbok, traditional Korean costume, and learning to cook tteokbokki, a representative Korean snack.
