During Nov. 2–13, 2015, Konkuk University (KU) Graduate School of Mass Communication & Public Relations is accepting the first round of applications from prospective students to be admitted in Spring 2016 for its master’s programs. The second round will take place between November 25 and December 4. The duration of all master’s programs is 2.5 years and classes are offered in the evenings. College graduates of all majors are eligible and welcome to apply.
The Graduate School of Mass Communication & Public Relations has been offering six majors through its three departments. Since its establishment in 1996, the school has awarded 302 master’s degrees, and there are 100 students currently enrolled.
The Performing Arts Management major will be newly launched in Spring 2016, intended to secure the diversity of majors and to actualize the inter- and multidisciplinary aspects of media. The performing arts industry has been gaining popularity recently and the convergence of cultural technology and performing arts is developing at a rapid pace. This major aims at providing convergence education optimized for the performing arts field and the changes in the media environment in not only domestic but also global markets.Posted by Eun Jin Cho
