President of Zambia’s Copperbelt University Visits KU

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">On July 11, 2016, President Naison Ngoma of Copperbelt University in Zambia visited Konkuk University (KU). Located in Kitwe, Copperbelt University is the second largest public university in the country with approximately 10,000 students enrolled in 102 undergraduate and graduate programs.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The visit was arranged after Zambian Ambassador to Korea Mumba S. Kampumpa came to KU for the unveiling of the second ox statue in May and introduced Copperbelt University. This time, KU President Heeyoung Song and Vice President for International Affairs Kwangsoo Kim met with the delegation and discussed the possibility of signing an agreement to exchange students and conduct joint research.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"> <img style="margin-left: auto; display: block; margin-right: auto;" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11666788" /></span></p>
