On November 15, 2016, Konkuk University held a study abroad fair for students. Previous Konkuk students who studied at Halmstad University in Sweden, University of Groningen in the Netherlands, University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt in Germany, Science Po Grenoble in France, Jaen University in Spain as well as University of North Dakota in the United States shared their experiences of studying abroad. Exchange students from California State University, Channel Islands and University of Central Oklahoma in the United States, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in China, IESEG School of Management in France and University of Malaga who are currently studying at Konkuk also gave presentations about their own school and campus life. In addition, staff from the Office of International Affairs held information sessions on the various programs available and the requirements and process for application.
Konkuk currently has agreements with 481 universitis in 60 countries to exchange students and conduct joint research. This year, Universite Paul-Valery Montpellier Ⅲ, Aix-Marseille Université, and Brest Business School in France, Universidad de Chile, Universidad Internacional in Mexico, and Murray State University in the United States have been added to the list. Every year, students have more opportunities to study abroad through exchange programs, short-term programs, language programs and internship programs. In 2016, approximately 1,000 studied abroad, a sharp increase from 725 students in 2013.
