On December 1, 2016, Konkuk University (KU) signed an MOU with Seneca College, a public postsecondary institution located in Ontario, Canada, to exchange students. The signing took place at an economic luncheon organized by the Canadian Embassy and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea for Premier Kathleen Wynne’s business mission. The premier led a delegation of 45 Ontario business and academic leaders to Seoul on December 1-2 to encourage investment in the province and expand trade networks.
Established in 1967, Seneca College has ten campuses throughout the Greater Toronto Area. It offers 145 full-time, part-time, and continuing education programs, and has 28,000 students, including 5,500 international students. In the afternoon, President David Agnew of Seneca College met with KU Provost and Executive Vice President Jai Won Ryou and toured Konkuk’s campus.
