French Ambassador Visits Konkuk University

<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">On April 26, Mr. <em>Fabien Penone</em>, the French ambassador to the Republic of Korea, visited Konkuk University. Mr. Penone graduated from Sciences Po and began his diplomatic service in 1997. His first post as an ambassador was to Seoul in 2015 and prior to that he was a foreign policy aid at the Presidential Secretariat. At Konkuk, the ambassador spoke about recent developments in the French presidential election with the university’s students as well as exchange students from Europe. As of April, Konkuk University has signed MOUs with 19 French universities and plans to increase and strengthen partnerships with higher education institutions in the country.<br /><br /><br /><img width="678" height="390" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11695426" /><br /><br /><img width="678" height="381" alt="" src="ArticleFile.do?id=11695428" /><br /><br /></span></p>
