On October 27, 2017, Konkuk University (KU)’s College of Veterinary Medicine and St. George’s University in Grenada concluded an MoU regarding joint research and cooperation in education.
At the signing ceremony, dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine Park, Seung yong and staff members of St. George’s University agreed to foster joint research projects, academic exchange and faculty and student exchange.
Dean of the School of Graduate Studies and director of research at St. George’s University Calum Macpherson gave a special lecture on “One Health” to students studying veterinary medicine and took a campus tour.
“St. George’s University which was awarded full accreditation by the AVMA Council on Education (COE) has the best facilities and know-how. By signing the MoU, selected third-year veterinary students of KU can complete a regular course in St. George’s University. It is tremendously meaningful to lay the foundation for further development of veterinary education by efficiently introducing advanced veterinary education programs,” says dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine Park, Seung yong.
Konkuk University (KU)’s College of Veterinary Medicine will actively help KU veterinary students to broaden the global perspective and to enhance learning ability through cooperation with relevant divisions.
