Konkuk University (KU)’s commencement ceremony took place at the New Millennium Hall on February 22, 2018. 4,891 graduate and undergraduate students from the main campus in Seoul and the GLOCAL campus in Chungju received their degrees. A total of 144 doctoral degrees, 802 master’s degrees, and 3,945 undergraduate degrees were conferred.

PhD student, Dong-hyeon Kim of the College of Veterinary Medicine, graduate student Soo-hyeon Min of the Graduate School, graduate student Han-sol Kim of the Graduate School of Architecture, graduate student Gyu-gyeom Park of the Law School, graduate student Jae-wook Jeong of the Graduate School of Business, graduate student Ho-seong Myeong of the College of Medicine, Graduate student Hyo-seon Nam of the Graduate School of Public Administration, graduate student Seon-hee Min of the Graduate School of Education, graduate student Mi-yeon Park of the Graduate School of Engineering, graduate student Gi-tae Hong of Graduate School of Agriculture & Animal Science, graduate student Seong-ju Lee of the Graduate School of Mass Communication and Public Relations, graduate student Joon-hee Jang of the Graduate School of Information and Telecommunications, graduate student Hye-gyeong Han of the Graduate School of Art & Design, graduate student Gi-taek Gwon of the Graduate School of Real Estate Studies, graduate student Yoo-seok Lee of the Graduate school of Creative Integrated Studies were presented with President’s Award.
Furthermore, Dean’s Award was given to eighteen students, including PhD student Jeong-hee Kim of the Department of Korean Language and Literature of the Graduate School and graduate student Seong-joon Yoo of the College of Medicine.Undergraduate student Seon-mi Park of the Department of Police Science, College of Public Service and Education, GLOCAL campus, received Chairperson’s Award and President’s Award was bestowed upon undergraduate student Chung-hwan Yun of the Department of Economics, College of Commerce & Economics, Seoul campus, and Min-hye Choi of the Department of Public Administration, College of Public Service, GLOCAL campus.
Since its establishment in 1931, KU has turned out approximately 210,000 graduates who have devoted themselves to the nation and human society by putting sincerity, fidelity, and righteousness, KU’s education philosophy, into practice in society.
