Konkuk University (KU) announced that Seol-hee Han, MD, professor in the department of neurology at who specializes in degenerative brain diseases and Alzheimer’s, was inaugurated as the 9th Senior Director of the KU Medical Center on March 23, 2018.
The ceremony, held in the auditorium of the Center, was attended by approximately 400 distinguished guests and KU faculty and staff, including KU Chairperson Jaeun Yoo, KU President Sanggi Min, former KU Medical Center Senior Director Jeong-hyeon Ahn and KU Medical Center President Dae-yong Hwang.
In the inaugural address, KU Medical Center Senior Director Seol-hee Han noted “Life is full of unexpected events. I am feeling a sense of grave responsibility to assume this position at this critical juncture. I will reflect on myself and endeavor to fulfill my duties.” Then, he added: “my vision is to set up a robust system where our management can consistently pursue the Center’s aim by setting a sustainable development direction. To this end, we – all of us – need to establish a framework for the system by collecting our thoughts and coordinating with each other. I will make sure to foster a positive and future-oriented organizational culture by making the administrative process of the Center fairer. Again, I would like to call on you to join our efforts to further develop KU Medical Center”.
