Konkuk University Signs a MOU with Kangwon Land for Digital Transformation and Talent Development

<p><span style="color: #333333; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Konkuk University announced on the 5<sup>th</sup> that it has signed a industry-academic MOU with Kangwon Land to jointly respond to the digitally transformed society resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and establish a mutual cooperation system.<br /><br /><img width="674" height="449" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="https://www.konkuk.ac.kr/do/MessageBoard/ArticleFile.do?id=11836751" /><br /><span style="color: #333333; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span>At the signing ceremony on the 4<sup>th</sup> held at Ruby Room, Convention Tower of Kangwon Land, President Young Jae Jeon, Jee In Kim, Executive Director of Immersive Media Innovation Sharing University Foundation, Hyung Seok Kim, Director of Immersive Media Innovation Sharing University Foundation, Hyun Chool Lee, Vice President for Public Affairs, Kyung Mo Kim, Professor at Immersive Media Innovation Sharing University Foundation, Jin Woo Ahn, Chief of Staff at Officeof the President and Joon Yeon Yoo, Director of External Affairs and Development attended along with Samgeol Lee, CEO of Kangwon Land, Junghoon Oh, Director of Business Support, Kyurae Lee, Director of Strategic Planning, Namkyoon Kim, Director of Information Strategy, Kyungsik Lee, Director of Information Development, Dohwan Kim, Director of Information Support and Sojung Lee, Director of Human Resources Development.<br /><br /><span style="color: #333333; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span>The main contents of the agreement were * discovery, promotion and consulting R&D projects for digital transformation * joint discovery and consulting of on/offline future business * digital transformation and metaverse curriculum * talent training program development and promotion for digital transformation.<br /><br /><span style="color: #333333; font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><span>President Jeon said, “We hope that the agreement will be an opportunity for Kangwon Land and Konkuk University to mutually develop as Konkuk University was selected as the leading university of digital new technology talent training and innovation sharing university project,” and, “There are a lot of expectations as the two institutions share a number of things in common in that Kangwan Land prepares for the future society and various business proposals, and Konkuk University’s projects on digital new technology and immersive media.”<span style="font-family: 한컴산뜻돋움;"><span style="color: #000000; font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 11pt;"><br /><br /><img width="652" height="434" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; display: block;" alt="" src="https://www.konkuk.ac.kr/do/MessageBoard/ArticleFile.do?id=11836752" /></span><br /></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></span></p>
