Admissions Guidelines (Spring 2021) download

Please read the Admission Guidelines above carefully.

Online Application

Go to Uway Apply’s website (http://ipsi4.uwayapply.com/foreign/konkuk/?CHA=1) → Log in → Review the Admission Guidelines → Click "Online Application" → Fill out the application → Pay the application fee online → Print out the application form → Submit required documents with the application form → Confirm your application by email (uadmissions@konkuk.ac.kr) or phone (82-2-2049-6202)

Qualifications

[ Nationality and Academic Requirements ]

    Freshman Applicants
    All applicants must meet both of the following requirements:
  • Applicants have graduated or are expected to graduate from accredited primary and secondary schools inside or outside of Korea. (12-year education)
    ※ If you studied less than 12 years of education, please consult whether you can apply or not
  • Applicants and their parents are foreign nationals without Korean citizenship since the day applicants were born.
    Transfer Applicants
    In addition, transfer applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements:
  • Applicants have completed or are expected to complete at least 2 years of a 4-year undergraduate degree program with at least 50 percent of the credits required for graduation at an accredited Korean or foreign university with good academic standing
  • Applicants have graduated or are expected to graduate from a 2- or 3-year associate degree program at an accredited Korean or foreign college with good academic standing

[ Language Proficiency Requirements ]

All applicants must submit one or more of the following documents:
  • TOPIK report of Level 3 or above
  • Korean Language Program Completion Certificate issued by Konkuk Language Institute of Level 3 or above
  • Report card of Korean Language Test Level 3 or above conducted and issued by Konkuk Language Institute

※ All students must acquire TOPIK Level 4 or above to graduate.

[Note 1] The timeline above is subject to change and announcements will be made accordingly.
[Note 2] If you have TOPIK report of Level 3 or above, Korean Language Program Completion Certificate issued by Konkuk Language Institute of Level 3 or above, or you’re a Current(2020 fall semester) student of Konkuk Language Institute, or an applicant of 72nd TOPIK examination, you cannot apply for Korean Language Test conducted by Konkuk Language Institute. (But, if 72nd TOPIK examination is delayed or canceled, and it’s impossible to submit your TOPIK report, you can apply for Korean Language Test conducted by Konkuk Language Institute.
[Note 3] Details of Korean Language Test conducted by Konkuk Language Institute will be announced after Online application.
[Note 4] The deadline to submit application documents is 5 p.m. on November 20, 2020. However, applicants may submit their TOPIK report by 5 p.m. on November 27, 2020. (If applicants took the 72nd TOPIK examination, they must submit their registration ticket.)
[Note 5] To prevent the spread of COVID-19, Non-face-to-face consultation is proceeding now. So, please make inquiries by telephone (02-2049-6202, 6225) OR e-mail (uadmissions@konkuk.ac.kr).
[Note 6] All required documents should also be sent by post only. Please post all documents in one and do not post them separately.
[Note 7] All announcements during the application period will be made via e-mail only. For this reason, Applicants MUST put the correct e-mail address on their application. Also, applicants will be responsible for any problems caused by e-mail address errors.

Application fee

  • Application Fee : KRW 107,000

※ You can pay the application fee with a credit card or through a wire transfer using Uway Apply’s website.

How to apply School Dormitory(KU:L HOUSE)

  • If you want, you can stay in In-campus dormitory. For more details, please refer to the guidelines. You can find the dormitory application form in the guidelines package on this page.
