Int'l Winter Program Academics

IWP offers various courses on Korea’s history, culture, and foreign relations. These classes are all conducted in English and may be transferred to your home institution. Students can earn one credit point for 15 hours of coursework. The finalized course schedule will be available and registration will begin in early December, soon after the application deadline. The tentative course list for 2016 KWIP are as follows:

  • Introduction to Korean Society and Culture
  • Power of Korean Pop Culture (known as the Korean Wave and called “hallyu” in Korean)
  • Korean Language

* The course list is subject to change.

Transcript and Credit Transfer

At the student’s request, a certified transcript will be sent to the home institution soon after the completion of the program. While most partner institutions accept Konkuk’s credits and grades, students are advised to confirm with their home institutions prior to application.
